STANDARD PACIFIC HOMES IS AN ENERGY STAR® QUALIFIED HOMEBUILDER

Every Standard Pacific home started in Hillsborough and Pasco counties is individually inspected and certified to meet the ENERGY STAR® program’s strict guidelines of energy efficiency. Less than three percent of the homes built in Florida in 2006 were ENERGY STAR® certified.

ENERGY STAR® homes are at least 15 percent more efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code, and include energy-saving features that typically make them 20 to 30 percent more efficient than typical homes. The features in these homes ensure better protection against cold, heat, drafts, moisture, pollution, dust, pollen, pests and noise. Homeowners enjoy improved indoor air quality, greater durability and increased resale value.

ENERGY STAR® is a joint program established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy to protect the environment through energy-efficient products and practices.
